Meet The Team
Amy is originally from Utah. She has helped organize, plan, and run multiple Camp Angel and SOAR events since she first started volunteering, and has helped start our 2020 Holiday Card Drive! Amy has held multiple positions on the Board of Directors, including Secretary. Now she is looking forward to her new role as Executive Director! She has a passion for travel and helping those less fortunate, especially children. Her hard work and creativity have given memorable experiences for children and her fellow volunteers alike!
Connor is a second-generation Delta employee and will celebrate 13 years with Delta in July. While attending Georgia Tech, he worked in ATL Airport Customer Service as a ticketing/gate agent for a year. After graduating from Georgia Tech with a BS in Public Policy, Connor transferred to Revenue Management as an analyst. After ten years in Revenue Management, he became a Project Leader in Global Distribution and Digital Strategy delivering new digital features for customers through various Digital Transformation projects. Connor is currently a Customer Experience Manager leading a team of reservations specialists that service customers through social edia channels.
Connor was a member of the 2017 C.E. Woolman Emerging Leaders Class, and is a 2015 Chairman’s Club Honoree. Connor has participated in over twenty medical supply delivery trips as part of the MedShare partnership and has delivered supplies to such far flung destinations like Nigeria, Ghana, and the Philippines. He currently serves as the POC for Caring Crew’s Honduras partnership with Clinica Esperanza.
Anna Berger grew up in Virginia, completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Central Florida, and received her graduate degree from New York University. She worked in events for a decade before becoming a flight attendant; first at JetBlue and currently at Delta since 2014 where she has loved getting involved in special assignments from Brand Ambassador, VELVET team, to various charter teams (White House Press Corp, VIP, Breast Cancer One, and sports teams). She has lived in NYC for two decades, is an avid traveler, works events and production on the side, and volunteers for various organizations in her free time. After volunteering with Caring Crew in Guatemala and Mexico City, Anna planned two successful Caring Crew/Medshare projects in Kenya. She is excited to serve on the board and to continue to help children around the world!
Lauren has been with Delta for over 5 years, in various roles from Sustainability, to HR, Revenue Management and Reservations Sales Alliances. She joined Caring Crew for her first medical supply delivery to Guatemala in 2018, and has led multiple trips since. Like most Delta employees, she loves to travel and learn about different cultures. She enjoys running and scuba diving on vacation, and she is currently learning Spanish to assist in her travels (and Caring Crew trips!).
Kevin has been volunteering with Caring Crew since 2018 and has participated in over 15 medical supply
delivery trips to Guatemala, Honduras, as well as a trip to Poland to aid those injured in the Russian
conflict. Kevin is a second-generation Delta employee and started his career in 2008 working in
International Cargo as a dispatch agent and TechOps as an aircraft mechanic before starting his
professional career five years later. Kevin has held various analytical roles throughout his career
supporting various business units: Revenue Management, Technical Operations, Reservations, and
Global Sales. Kevin holds six sigma green belt certification, a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management
from Clayton State University and a Master’s degree in Analytics from Georgia Tech.
In his spare time, you can find Kevin doing DIY projects, riding his bike on the beltline, trying new
restaurants around Atlanta, or on a plane headed to a new city to explore with his fiancée, Christine.
Kevin and Christine have a cat named Crookshanks and a Great Pyrenees named Missy.
Amy Babcock grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii and went to the University of Hawaii at Manoa where she completed a Bachelors in Science with a certificate in Peace Studies. While in school Amy was a practicing and licensed massage therapist and has kept up her practice over the last 15 years including a recently completed certification in Zero Balancing. A Delta Air Lines flight attendant for the last 8 years, she has enjoyed seeing the world while also giving back. In 2019, she joined a group of flight attendants to volunteer at Elephant Nature Park in Chang Mai, Thailand. Closer to home she has enjoyed philanthropic projects with Delta Air Lines at the USO and Caring Crew, creating boxes of food for children to take home during the pandemic in NYC. She is looking forward to supporting the Caring Crew mission and events.
Lisa Pina recently joined the Delta Inflight Family after spending 8 years in other departments within Delta. She has volunteered in many Delta sponsored events, including planning the Boston Pride Parade. She has served on the Employee Involvement Group and was a Velveteer.
Lisa is a former athlete and spent a majority of her youth and college years playing Soccer, Basketball and Softball. While also participating in sports, Lisa devoted much of her time giving back to her community and most recently fulfilled a life goal of being able to give back in another country. She was introduced to Caring Crew by a fellow Velveteer and is forever grateful for the opportunities and friends she has met as a result.
Lisa has a Bachelor’s degree in Family and Child Studies and a Masters in Human Resource Management. She is from the Boston area where she still resides with her significant other and her stubborn Alapaha Blue Blood bulldog.
She is excited to be the Events Director with Caring Crew and is eager to plan events and bring some fun ideas!
Katherine, “Kat”, Comerford is a Georgia native, spending most of her life living in a small, southwest Georgia town named Thomasville. She studied Speech Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations at Valdosta State University, where she also obtained a Certification of Spanish for Professionals. She furthered her education at Liberty University, where she received her Master’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. Since college, Kat has worked in areas of Sales, Marketing, and Development and has volunteered in various organizations such as Chambers of Commerce, Kiwanis Clubs, and a Junior Service League. She currently works in the roles of Flight Attendant, Marketing, and Financial Literacy. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors and especially loves hiking and camping in the greater Salt Lake City area, where she currently resides. She also has a passion for giving back, helping others, and living the life that Jesus has called her to.
Jami Jimenez has been with Delta Air Lines for a little over 3 years . Since 2016 she worked in reservations and recently in 2019 she transitioned into Inflight. She lives in Tampa, Fl but is based in Atlanta. She joined Caring Crew in 2018 and it has forever impacted her life. She is fluent in Spanish. On her free time she loves to go outdoors, the beach and watching movies. She has a passion for traveling, serving others and volunteering in places where there is a need . Her hope is to instill the love she has in her onto others.
