About the Event
Caring Crew is thrilled to return to Atitlan, Guatemala, and partner with Hospitalito Atitlan! The hospitalito is a nonprofit hospital, offering free and discounted healthcare to the local community. Making care more accessible is their passion, and we get to play an important role in helping them achieve that dream! Thanks to Caring Crew volunteers and our Medical Crew-Sades, the Hospalito will be recieving supplies they have specifically requested that they normally wouldn't be able to find, and thanks to the volunteers they also don't have to pay for shipping the supplies, so their funding can go directly to their patients.
Caring Crew is building a team of 5 volunteers to fly to Guatemala and help with this important opportunity! On April 15th, we will meet in the Atlanta International check-in counter to meet the team and check the bags of donations, and return on the 18th.
Please be aware that all sign ups will be on a first-come, first-serve basis, and a wiatlist will be created. Also, all volunteers will be required to pay a volunteer fee to cover transportation and the air bnb, and then all additional costs are the volunteer's responsibility. Volunteers are also responsible for their own travel.
April 15th, 8:30AM EST: meet at the International Check in counter in Atlanta international airport, check bags of supplies
Flight DL1830 at 10:30AM ATL-GUA
We will be staying at an air bnb on beautiful Lake Atitlan, in a fun, safe and tourist-friendly area!
We are also in talks to visit the Hospitalito either Sunday or Monday, so please be prepared with a face mask in case we get to tour the hospital!
