HONDURAS MEDICAL SUPPLY DELIVERY
Time & Location
About the Event
Delta will finally be scheduling flights to Roatan, Honduras, starting this June! A team consisting of four volunteers and our two coordinators Connor and Austin will bring long-awaited medical supplies to a clinic in Roatan. There will be no charge for lodging, but volunteers are expected to pay for their food, transportation, and COVID testing (a PCR or antigen test is required to enter Honduras, and a negative COVID test taken within 3 days is required to re-enter the United States).
Volunteers will meet in the check-in area of the Atlanta International Airport in order to check bags full of donated medical supplies. The trip starts on June 5th, so please plan accordingly. More specific information about meeting times will be sent to the team members. After checking the luggage, the team will catch Delta's flight to Roatan. We are incredibly thankful for our friends in Roatan, as they will host us in their volunteer apartments, so there will be no charge for lodging! Because Delta will only be operating flights to and from Roatan on Saturdays and Tuesdays, volunteers are welcome to take any airline back home should they need to leave before June 8th. COVID tests are available for $50 per person in Roatan, should you need to be re-tested before entering the US.
We are thankful for this opportunity and can't wait to have our team together!
