Volunteer Cost: $ 125 (Will cover all lodging, food and field trip costs)

Where: El Molina School

Tecpan, Guatemala (about 1 hour from Antigua)

Children range in age from pre-school to 15

Lodging: Casa Xara (about 10 mins from school it is a lovely converted sugar mill)

Agenda: July 11th-12th : Full days hosting activities at the school

July 13th: Trip to Antigua for the older children as a learning day and service project

General Info:

2-day workshop for 215 kids which will include a Science program, English lessons, artwork, physical fitness programs, a workshop for parents, hotdog and s’mores camp fire for kids and parents, and a community service project visiting a hospital for disabled children.

We would GREATLY appreciate donations! Items that are needed include 50 children’s toothbrushes, 50 tubes of toothpaste, 50 crochet needles, 50 spools of Yarn, Hershey chocolate bars, graham crackers, marshmallows, children’s books in Spanish and English, and of course cash donations.
